Mom - P & J

Miss Urmila is an excellent teacher! She provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment. We started OT sessions with her 3 years ago, my older son was struggling with handwriting and some fine motor skills. Miss Urmila started from very basic instruction to detailed lessons which included letter sizing, spacing, cutting, drawing and muscle exercise. My son successfully learned from her. He was evaluated for OT services at school and he got almost 100%. Additionally, Miss Urmila taught zones of regulations. My son learned a lot about how to manage his behavior. His frustrations and meltdowns were significantly decreased. I am very grateful for her, she is very compassionate and eager to do extra steps to help my child. As an educator and a parent, I am very specific and observant how my children’s teacher conducts sessions and lessons. Miss Urmila is a perfect example of a compassionate therapist with a heart and shares her knowledge in a manner that a student understands and applies it.

Urmila is a fantastic Occupational Therapist. She is professional, friendly, and caring. She spends the time to understand our concerns and worked on all the OT goals set for our child during the past year. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, always positive and it's obvious that she loves her job. Our child started with Urmila with moderate OT concerns. It has been one year and our child has progressed to what is right now considered “average” for her age based on the latest school OT evaluation. We will always be grateful to Urmila for the early intervention she provided our child to help our daughter get to where she is now. We highly recommend Urmila if you need OT for your child.

Urmila is an extremely knowledgeable Occupational Therapist who is truly passionate about her work. She has a wealth of experience and offers a warm approach to working with our daughter. Urmila is always positive and never gives up on our daughter. She pin-pointed the area where our child needs the most improvement, and tailors our sessions to make maximum progress in that area. All of the strategies I've learned from Urmila are doable and accessible. Urmila can teach exercises that make sense and are easy to carry over into everyday life with your child. I'm grateful for our experience and would highly recommend Urmila to any family needing an Occupational Therapist for their child.

Mom - Twins

I am writing to highly recommend Mrs. Urmila Mane services as an Occupational Therapist. Mrs. Mane has been my twin boys’ occupational therapist through NJ Early Intervention since May 2022. She is the most compassionate and supportive person I have ever met. She truly connects with my boys and their progress so far has been remarkable. I would not be exaggerating if I say that Mrs. Mane has been an exceptional occupational therapist. As a parent of a Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I have seen many occupational therapists. What makes Mrs. Mane Exceptional? She is very dedicated and goes the extra mile. She also provides additional therapeutic resources at her own expense to help my children. I was initially worried about my boys when our therapy sessions begin. Mrs. Mane took her time and explained the whole process and the goal for each twin. She provided frequent feedbacks and recommendations for me to try at home. The boys have made miraculous improvements and will be ready for preschool in March. Without Mrs. Mane’s hard work, we would not have made it this far. I am confident whoever uses her services with have a similar testimony. Without any reservations, I highly recommend Mrs. Urmila Mane’s Occupational therapy services. I am confident that her work will speak for itself.
